Please note: BETA 8CX, 10CX and 12CX are coaxial speakers with tweeter sold separately. The data for these coaxial woofers was calculated with the ASD:1001 driver screwed into the woofer, but not active.

Eminence'splot of the Beta 10CX (Fig 2) doesn't lookvery friendly. It is precisely this responsethat made me hesitant to purchase this coaxial.With a response like that, I would be forcedto cross at 500Hz, which is not realisticfor a 1" exit compression driver. Anotheroption is to cross at about 1,500Hz, but thatwould entail a notch filter centering at 1,000Hz,a prospect I'm not too thrilled about.
