Rajesh,
This is not how all of this works.
It' client / server topology where :-
Esme acts as a client ,
Smsc acts as a server,
smppsim from selenium is a SIMULATOR for smsc . It can't send sms to your mobile , you need to create a esme application and need to connect to smppsim and then the sms will be delivered to your esme application .not to your mobile.

Then you don't need smpp at all. simply use java sms apis , you need to download the java comm api and program that way. I have done that without difficulty in past. for pointer use this :-

I have used my Sony Ericsson P990i which has gsm modem.
SMS java api is only useful if you want to read the incoming message from gsm modem and want to send the message through the gsm modem. If this is what you need then just use SMS api. but in this scenario , I am just curious how would your customer send message to your gsm modem .
Are you trying to write an app which service like short number (like the sms is sent to 8888 or 54321) ? if yes, then you might need to use smpp.
