was just doing some math on my latest check, realized I am now being taxed 18.5% of my earnings. whereas a year ago it was closer to 23%. What is going on here? Why am I not being taxed to death now that liberals are in charge?

You are confusing withholdings with actual taxes to be paid.  This spring, millions who experienced a monthly contributions decrease will have to actually write a check to the IRS.  I'm sure that will be good for the economy.

 

Folks who historically have received an annual refund, are counting on that money to pay off their furniture, or to make a down payment on a car, will now have to write a check to Uncle Sambo.

You would learn that the bill prevents insurance companies from denying claims. Oh, btw, Medicare Advantage is tax payer subsidized private insurance and falls under this category. See, the problem with sourcing garbage is that it can't be taken seriously.

Yeah, you didn't finish the paragraph in Wiki: Sambo is a racial term for a person with mixed Amerindian and African heritage in the Caribbean (see zambo) and can also be used less specifically for a black person in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is considered a racial slur.

The truth is, racism will start to die when we quite giving special attention to "naughty words".  They're just words.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.  Do you get angry if someone calls you: Whitey?  Cracker?  If so then you are giving those words more power than they deserve.

 

If you spend some time in the inner cities, you'll discover that those most willing to toss around these "naughty words" are from one black to another.  The beauty with that, is that in doing so, they are acknowledging that it is just a word and doesn't deserve any more power than any other word in our vocab.
