How far to map PHP Smarty to jSmart

to jSmart - JavaScript template engine with Smarty syntax
I can see that some people are looking to having more and more of
every aspect of PHP Smarty in jSmart. I think that is fine, but
hopefully this can be done in a way that more advanced features are
plugin like and dont have to be used in the final output. I am
concerned about the total size of this JS library and would like to
see a minimal core that provides very basic support, with additional
support being added as options.

I total support this concept. The plugins could be loaded by ajax (on
demand)?

I think either dynamic loading or even the way the JS it combined and
minimized.
