I am pleased to announce the release of the first public beta of
jsircbot.

You can download the package from this site:
http://code.google.com/p/jsircbot/

Keep in mind that this version is a beta and has a limited set of
functionalities.
The bot can join a channel, listen for changes ( join, part,
quit, ... ), receive DCC files.

WARNING: Currently, received DCC files are stored in the current
directory.
