JSDB 1.8 and JIT

Hi folks,

Sorry everyone, JSDB 1.8 does not actually have the Just-In-Time
compiler working. The speed improvements we're seeing are just from
the Mozilla Foundation's hard work in improving the SpiderMonkey
engine.

What happened is that some definitions are required to enable the JIT,
and enabling them breaks the compile because of some missing
declarations. I'm working on finding the source of the problem, which
is probably somewhere in the configure script.

Again, I apologize for the delay in adding the JIT compiler to JSDB
