There are two papers in JEE Main 2016 paper 1 and paper 2. For paper 1 equal no of questions will be asked from mathematics, physics and chemistry. For paper 2 there are 3 parts, part 1 will be mathematics, part 2 will be aptitude test and part 3 will be drawing test. From part 1 chemistry there are two sections physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry.
JEE Main 2016 Exam Pattern:
There are two level of exams in JEE 2016 i.e., JEE Main 2016 and JEE Advanced 2016. Students who clear the JEE Main is eligible for JEE Advance. JEE Advanced is the gateway for entering NIT’s. JEE Main 2016 consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is for B.E / B.Tech and paper 2 is for B.Planning and B.Arch. Paper 1 will be both pen and paper exam and online exam while in paper 2 is only paper and pen exam.
