Join the OK Lab Berlin!

Dear Berlin.JS

I am currently a member of the Open Knowledge Lab Berlin (OK Lab). It is part of the project Code for Germany, which launched in March and encompasses the aim to build up Open Data Communities across the country. So far Code for Germany has spawned twelve OK Labs in twelve cities, with even more cities to join. One of the OK Labs is located in Berlin. We are meeting on a weekly basis with approximately twenty people to work on a big variety of applications around Open Data, Transparency and Civic Apps. Check out our city page on http://codefor.de/berlin/ to see the Github pages too!

If that sounds appealing to you, I would be more than delighted to welcome you at our meetup on June 4th. We are planning to present the status of the ongoing projects on that day, also for communicating what we need in terms of helping hands and to integrate new people. The meetup is also open for pitching new projects, or interesting data sets that could serve as a basis for interesting visualizations.

We are meeting at the Wikimedia in Kreuzberg at 7pm every Wednesday. Feel free to come by or contact us beforehand in case you have any questions.

Looking forward to meet you!
Magdalena
