Thanks, Carolyn, for the good news, and congratulations.
This is a break between fighting the Civil War and fighting the Talbans (both good good topics on the JRHS).

Just thought I would let you know that I have a beautiful new granddaughter born on Monday at 8:12 a.m.  Emily Claire went home today from the hospital and I think Daddy will not get over how sweet and pretty she is.  Did not want me to hold her this morning because I might have not washed my hands just right.  She weighed 7 lb 2 oz and is 19 1/4 inches long.  I have missed having a baby around since her big brother is almost 9.  My other daughter has two girls that are 13 and 10 (going on 30 they think).
She looks just like her mother did 36 years ago when I held her.  Karla does not believe it.

Thanks, Joy, and congratulations Caroyn.

I agree that we need some relief -- fyi -- I am reading and will soon post from a "A Christian Heritage" -- a summary of the Yellow Fever epidemic in Grenada.

Any birthdays coming up?

I don't have birthdays any more, Mike.
However, I know what the alternavitive is, and I am grateful to God
for good health for me and my family.
I think I shall remain 63 which reversed is 36.
What about you?
Birthday coming up?
I know you are about 6 years younger than me.
I am anxious to read about the yellow fever epidemic in Grenada.
I have read summaries about the yellow fever epidemic in Grenada, but
my mind needs refreshing.
I have never read anything about it in Gore Springs and Graysport.
I am sure these communites were sparsely populated, then.
Take care, and have a Merry Christmas.
Joy
P.S. One thing about the JRHS, everyone knows your age when you give
the year you graduated.
My age doesn't bother me, it's the body that is not the same as it was
when I was 36.
Now, Bobby Lippincott still tells me that he is 40.
I hope "that" Harley doesn't give him a "spill" one day.
