how can restart the Application Programatically?

Currently it's not possible to restart a JavaFX application, but you can probably reload the scene.

Why do you need that ?

I met this trouble when I tried to write integration tests.

Hi Sebastian,

actually the Restart is not the aim. I need to change The Display Language (For Example with new Login in my Application). But this is also not easy to done as in some issues described.
The Idea , as Workaround, was to save the new Language and forcing the Application to restart and load FXML/PrimaryStage with the new setted Language.

I will prepare a such feature for 8.1.0 version, but you can try to use DetachModelCommand then ShowModelCommand of the Model you need to reload without forgetting to update the language used between 2 commands.
