Dear Mum
Thanks for your email. I receive my healing in Jesus name. Amen! I had a stomach upset. I have still not gotten used to eating their food. Everything here is so sweet - lots of sugar. Sorry the notes came in too late. I also received my invitation to the next night with Ghanaian composer's series. Wow, the National Symphony Orchestra will actually be performing. I have never watched them perform live. Too bad I am missing them. Would have love to be there.
I start two new courses next week - Grant Writing and International Organizations. I believe these courses will be very useful to us when I return. My results have been released for the first term. I had an A- in Negotiations and a B+ in International Relations. Wasn't very bad, but I need to work hard. The American
system of education, which my school uses, is so demanding. Lots of reading, assignments and classroom presentations. Studying back home was so easy. I could easily make As without putting in so much effort. Here I sit for hours reading and researching. I am sure I will return home a better person with the training am receiving here. I intend to start Dutch Classes in April at the University of Leiden. Since am here I think I should learn the language. It will also enhance my chances of getting a job here. Because the ability to speak Dutch is a requirement for most jobs here.
I couldn't find a new place, so I will be staying here for another two months. The weather is changing - its getting warmer each day and people. Life is starting to pick up. It was quite slow when it was cold. I will keep you informed of events here. My regards to every one, especially Nana Sei, Val and their kids.
Your son
