Invitation to Album Launch: Harmonious Adoration 1

The Harmonious Chorale is set to hit the music industry with another stunning album dubbed “Harmonious Adoration 1” and we request the honour of your presence at the official launching. The venue, date and time for the launch is the Kama Conference Centre, Labone, Accra, on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 6:00pm.

The new album, which is the Chorale’s third, has 12 tracks (hymns and anthems) composed and arranged by James Varrick Armaah. It features hit songs “Aseda nka Nyame”, “Great is the Lord” and “Orekyekye.”

 

The Harmonious Chorale is the resident choir of SALM, and an offshoot of the Harmonious Quartet founded in 2005 by James Varrick-Armaah. Its membership comprise of students and some individuals with great passion for church and classical music.

 

Over the years, the choir has worked with many composers including Prof Yaw Sakyi-Baido, Tsemafo Arthur, Kenn Kafui, Newlove Annan and Joshua Amoah.  It is currently the main performing choir for SALMM’s Evenings with Ghanaian Composer’s Series – a concert held quarterly to affirm the works of contemporary Ghanaian composers and to also promote a wider appreciation of choral music in the country.
