Invitation to a "Night with Soloists"

Salt and Light Music Ministry (SALM) announces a special concert event dubbed “A Night of Soloists” to provide a platform for soloists of classical and choral music to perform with Ghana’s finest chorales and instrumentalists.
The maiden edition of the concert will be held at the Kama Conference Centre, Labone, on Friday, November 19, 2010, at 5:30pm. It will feature classical and choral music sensationals, Gertrude Awotwi Pratt (Soprano), Karen Kwarteng (Soprano), Eddie Gaisie (Tenor), Benjamin Adjei (Tanor), and Kennedy Danquah (Bass).
All five soloists will be
assisted by the young musical prodigy James Varrick Armaah, on the key board,
and the Harmonious Chorale. They will entreat the audience to classical tunes
from the renaissance period to present day. And also perform selected works of
some Ghanaian composers, including Newlove Annan, Ken Kafui, Prof Yaw Sakyi
Baido and Tsemafo Arthur.
