Dear Teachers, 

It's been over a year since we passed out of XIC, but the time we have spent at the institution under your guidance still remains precious and important to us. I must admit, as I write this email, I still worry about the wrong grammar. And I am sure all of us will always be thankful to each one of you for having that kind of an impact on us.

Just wanted to share, we batch mates are still in touch, and remember the institution, all our professors and Ida ma'am very fondly.

Here's wishing you a very Happy Teacher's Day and a big thank you for everything that you have done for us.

We were discussing on the group what we should write to you but agreed on a simple note letting you know that one of the best things you've given us (along with everything else) is a lovely environment to learn and grow, and make some wonderful friends.

Lovely to hear from you, and thanks so much for your warm greetings on teacher's day.  

I remember you all very fondly, and recall the wonderful synergy you guys brought to class.

And I'm sorry its taken me a week to acknowledge your email, but I've been without my laptop for about two months now.  Back and forth to and from the service center a few times, and finally they seem to have licked the problem.  Expect to get my laptop back sometime next week, fingers crossed.  In the meanwhile, I'm sending this from a friend's comp.
