Required :

 

Min 1 year of experience in English reporting (General Beat )

 

The candidate should be based out of Mumbai

 

 

The JD for the same is as follows :

 

·         Being the first ones to break the stories in their respective beats.

·         Getting the newsmakers of the day. Getting an exclusive that puts the channel ahead of others.

·         Increasing the frequency of exclusives.

·         Forward planning and contribution to bureau ideas. Pitching stories that would add a competitive edge over other channels.

·         Reporting and filing stories on a wide range of topics (legal , politics, crime, social issues, national affairs etc)

·         Covering the beat effectively without missing big stories, spotting trends and breaking news.

·         Handling special Investigations events of local, national and international importance.

·         Reporting for exclusive news stories and programs for the bureau.

·         Researching and presenting stories for broadcasting.

·         Conducting research and interviews; often writing own scripts.

·         Supporting editors by researching news stories or preparing information for coverage.
