Rotate within wrapper

In my endeavors to figure out how to use -transform-origin to force a rotating image to align to it's wrapper, I accidentally came up with the following solution: http://jsfiddle.net/Z7VVR/8/ which was based on my efforts from this stackoverflow question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15109483/how-can-i-maintain-a-tight-wrap-around-a-css-rotated-image

I'm not quite finished solving the puzzle yet cross-browser, and I still don't really understand why the solution I've found works, but I thought this might be reusable by somebody else.

Thanks for sharing, I will add the Stackoverflow question and link's you gave to a FAQ section, maybe someone can use this findings.
