Background: I'm in the process of ratcheting-up my involvement with
jQuery-UI testing, documentation, etc, Since I have a potential
development case here, I need to be able to build the latest to create
a coherent js package for the development case.

My js development environments are Windows and OS-X.

Question 1: I should use Ant, not Make, correct? The jQuery developer
docs also refer to Make but I haven't seen it referred-to here.

Question 2: My primary interest in this particular development case is
replacing the current Filament Group-style fg-buttons with the formal
ui-buttons actively being developed right now. What's the feeling,
will buttons likely make-it into the 1.8 release?

jQuery UI currently only has an ant build, we don't have a make file.

At this point, buttons and the widget factory will be in the 1.8 release.

1: Yep, Ant it is.

2: Very very likely! Button got a lot of attention in the last weeks and is in a very good state. We're currently improving the demos (http://jquery-ui.googlecode.com/svn/branches/dev/demos/button/index.html) and extending the unit test coverage. Your feedback on those is very welcome!
