Hello,

I'm a little disappointed right now. Have a serious problem with the plugin in IE9 : files are uploading, but no progress bar.
Seem's like I'm not alone :
https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/issues/1490
https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/issues/1030
https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/issues/1579

And many others... Every time there is no answer from blueimp about this issue : just a link to the browser support page, which is displaying now for every functionality :

Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.0+

WTF?! Seriously, how many people have IE10 right now ? No one ! And don't say to me that IE9 is shitty, it's a modern browser !

I really like this plugin but this is a real issue to me, and probably to many people. Tried to change the return content type to text/plain, updated jquery, no success.
And if you try the official demo in IE9, there is no progress bar. Useless. Better than that, with large JPEG files :

Empty file upload result

It's not working at all !

Is there any plan to make this plugin working with more than 50% of the market ?
The problem is that I have a complete web app based on this plugin. I can't change to another plugin without 20 hours of work...

I just want one thing from the plugin creator : the reason why this is not working in IE. Then maybe I will be able to find a workaround for my situation.

Thanks

To be clear : when I'm talking about a workaround, it's for the issue that making the upload not working, not the progress bar. Seem's like for this we need a flash fallback - it's annoying anyway.

It's somewhat disconcerting that this doesn't have a reply. IS there support for older IE browsers?

It works fine for our site in IE8+. IE isn't a modern browser though and it doesn't have a 50% market share. It only has 38% worldwide.

Try importing jquery.iframe-transport.js, fixed IE9 for me.

I am using the jquery.iframe0transport.js file and I still get nothing on the server when uploading in IE9.  Same code works perfectly in Chrome.
