jQuery File Upload Plugin 5.40.3 : Uncought TypeError: undefined is not function line 1258

Hi

I am trying to use latest Jquery plugin 5.40.3 but it through some error  Uncought TypeError: undefined is not function line 1258. I am using the jquery 1.8.3. I guess that _on function is not defined in latest jquery fileupload plugin. do you have any idea how to fix this error.?

Getting the same error on line 1261. It's the first this._on() in the _initEventHandlers-function. 

However, I also couldn't include the "/js/vendor/jquery.ui.widget.js"... It says "Cannot read property 'removeClass' of undefined" on line 359. Trying to get it working.

Using jQuery UI 1.8.17 which already has included jquery.ui.widget.js...
