File upload aborted

I spent quite a huge amount of time to make this work, but I am not able to do so.
I even used chmod -R 777 on whole www/html directory, but it still fails with an error "File upload aborted".
Can be somebody please be of any help?

The log says:

I had this same issue in windows. It was caused by the application not having write permissions to the file. Once I changed the file from "Read only" to "Read and Write" it worked for me.
