Welcome to the jQuery Documentation Group here on Google. If you've
signed up, then I assume your interested in helping the documentation
process for the jQuery community.
The reason I created this group is to keep this process out of the
main jQuery group, but also to organise the discussion so that
hopfully the documentation will improve.
Topics of dicussion include, but are not limited to:
* How should the documentation be organised? Should it remain on the
Wiki, with some major re-oganisation. Should it be moved over to a
Drupal book? Or should a custom app be built?
* How should the API be made fully available to the public? There are
two great API broswers already out there - Visual jQuery and Jorn's
API browser. Should be continue to have both, or work on one
centralised API browser which builds upon the comments in each jQuery
release?
* How should plugin demo's be managed?
The idea is also to create a core team of documentation moderators.
The core team of developers are far to busy to look over ever piece of
code that comes their way, so by creating this team we can insure
consistancy and quality in the documentation.
So with that in mind, let's start the discussion and beat the
competiton for ease of use and availability of docs :)
