Trouble with focus on file upload field

Hi,
I've got a problem that we've been working out to make Drupal's
vertical tabs more accessible. Unfortunately we've run into a problem
where we can't seem to switch focus to the file upload field.
If anyone's run into this before, please take a look at http://drupal.org/node/467296
We're trying to make sure it's accessible to keyboard only users.
