HH Jayapataka Swami Gurumaharaja in Mayapur. For Narasimha Caturdasi 2014.

HH JPS Gurumaharaja arrived to Mayapur on the 9th of May at 7 pm coming from
Kolkata after a long tour that took his holiness to Delhi for many meetings
from April 18th, then on the 24th of April Gurumaharaja went to Chiang Mai
in Thailand and then transited Singapore on his way to South Korea then from
there he went to London again transiting Singapore then came back to India
from London transiting Damodardesh Yatra. In Delhi many devotees from
Mayapur went to serve HH JPS. Also Madhava Kantha prabhu, is based there ad
was arranging many services. Maha Varaha das (Malaysian) and Ekanath Gaura
das prabhus (Argentinian) and Haridas Chaitanya Prabhu  (from Chile) were
traveling with Gurumaharaja in this tour.

Since Gurumaharaja came here he had a smooth schedule, not overloaded with
many activities as used to happen during Vyasapuja time, but instead have
been able to take more rest and to go to the pool for some therapies. He
gave yesterday on the 10th at night a class in from of Radha Madhava along
with His senior disciple, HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami. Then at night
Gurumaharaja gets his dinner and takes rest. Usually Gurumaharaja sleeps
very late but yesterday morning we were few devotees in his room and we were
thinking that he should follow a more strict schedule for hi resting time
and seems he was happy that at least yesterday he went to bed earlier and
this morning he went to Mangal Aratik and had full program. He had a meeting
with Sridam prabhu (GKG) who is in charge of the area of the Planetarium
exhibition under Gurumaharaja who was briefing him on whatever is done so
far and getting new ideas on how to make a state of the art exhibition about
the universe according to the Vedas as per Srila Prabhupada's order and
request. While later Gurumaharaja went to a meeting with the Strategic
development committee which under the coordination of HG Vaikunta Nitai
prabhu also our God brother who is one of the deputy directors and also does
the layout and designing of many books in our community.

Gurumaharaja during the morning was mentioning yesterday that while he was
in South Korea Maha Varaha and Ekanath Gaura das asked him to go for one
month rest or treatment in a very specialized place. Which seems he agreed
to that, but we don't know yet as also on the 5th of June Gurumaharaja has
to go to Atlanta for the Panihatti festival.

One thing impressed me also yesterday is that one of Gurumaharaja disciples
has ten days fasting completely, it's amazing and many talk about his power
to do this heavy austerity but Gurumaharaja was worried about him and asked
him that tomorrow he must brake ekadasi at the right time here was from 9:02
am till 9:20 am only 18 minutes to break ekadasi and that Gurumaharaja told
him that his body belong to Krsna and that he can't harm himself by this
severe fasting as seems he had some problem and decided to fast, and I saw
Maha Varaha prabhu and other devotees preaching to him at that time. Amazing
how some people can do these extraordinary austerities. I wouldn't be able
to do not even a complete day now a days.

Anyway things might change these days, as he also needs to be in Kolkata to
help in sorting out some issue that require his important inputs. During day
time he sometimes receive devotees for meeting.

While I was with Gurumaharaja this morning and before he took some rest
while another devotee (Visvambara prabhu from USA) was also assisting
Gurumaharaja in setting up a system in the phone with some devotees details,
basically those from South Korea, I was discussing about the book I am
making now a days on Gurumaharaja life story which would be as complete as
possible and getting some details from him. Suddenly I remembered that HH
JPS started writing a book long time ago on his association with Srila
Prabhupada that he wanted to put all the instructions and exchanges he
received from His Dear and beloved Gurudeva, but that Gurumaharaja wasn't
able to finish. So in my enquiries about when he would give time to finish
it, he paused a little bit and was thoughtful about it and asked me to take
up the service to go through the book and try to find the timing of each
pastime and each Lila of Srila Prabhupada mentioned in these writings, so
later on we can try to finish it and present it to the devotees, which I
very happily will try to do with the help of some of our God
brothers/sisters. This for sure as I told His Holiness will help me to
nurture further my knowledge about the personality and activities of
Gurumaharaja as well as about the Great Acarya and Jagatguru HDG Srila
Prabhupada which in fact is an honor and a mercy to always read and write
about His Divine Grace.

I just came today at almost 12 noon when I am writing this report from the
pool, where GM is having his therapies assisted by few devotees. I was with
Guru Maharaja in his room since the morning and discussed few important
topic with His holiness that I will mention on some of them in this report.
But at 11 am almost we took (Devogauranga, Pancajanya das and one more
devotee I forgot his name, myself we went to the pool but before
Gurumaharaja asked me while we were in the lift to stop at the third floor,
so we went to see Mahavaraha and asked him to come with us. Gurumaharaja was
telling about some lady devotee who came crying asking for Gurumaharaja's
help as she has a case with her husband and daughter, that by Krsna's mercy
was solved on the spot by the assistance of HG Gauranga Simha prabhu a
disciple of Gurumaharaja who is one of the Co-Directors in Mayapur. But
Mahavaraha was already aware of that specific case as he was informing GM
about it. Then we all want to the pool and few devotees and pilgrims stopped
Gurumaharaja to offer some gift as well as some Krsna books drawn by young
devotees.

We reached to the pool like at 11:20 and while Ekanath Gaura and Mukunda
Murari das were there preparing things for Gurumaharaja arrival and having
the pool area ready for the therapies in the water as it easier for Gm to
talk there and activate his weak muscles. Later on we were joined by Abhay
pabhu the son of Hrimati Mataji and few other devotees.
While simultaneously HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami was delivering a lecture in
a close by Bramacaris dining hall to few hundreds of pilgrims who have
purchased the Srimad Bhagavatam in a festival called Bhagavat Sangrahok
Samelan  as we could hear so then I went after that to take fee pictures and
associate with Maharaja. As you all know he had his Vyasapuja celebration
yesterday as the Sankirtan Bhavan which I posted f pictures in his Facebook
page. Later on I noticed that HH Bhaktivinode Swami from Coimbatore another
of the senior disciples of Gurumaharaja in charge of Coimbatore and other
yatras in the same area, so he  was around and we went together to see
Gurumaharaja while His holiness was in the pool. Maharaja also came for
Narasimha Caturdasi.

Today 12-05-2014, Gurumahraja will have meeting with HG Ajamila prabhu to
present and talk about his Vastu oriented construction project in Mayapur,
and later on at 7 Pm, will go to bless the wedding ceremony of the daughter
of Dr. Shantirupa Mataji and Tattvavit Prabhu from Malaysia, her name is
Vrinda Maharani dd and the devotee is from Orissa and his name is Anadi
Jagannath das, The ceremony will be held at the Rajpur Jagannath Mandir.
I would like to add, that I was showing the pictures of the Candan Yatra to
Gurumaharaja this morning, where I mentioned that Lord Jagannath covered
with blue Candan on the 7th day of Candan Yatra festival which I posted on
Facebook, got the highest number of like hits along with the pictures Lord
Madhava also with blue Candan. Astonishing comments by devotees were added.
Lord Jagannath with Baladeva and Subhadra Mayi are super active Deities from
the time of Lord Chaitanya and have a very unique form.

This morning I heard from one devotee from west Bengal, He is one of
Gurumaharaja's servants who asked me to confirm if it's true that when
Gurumaharaja was attacked in Spain long time back by a devotee he happened
to meet him after that incident and told him something related of not been
able to end with the life of Gurumahraja and similar things, which GM
declared this to be completely false, and he explained to me many details of
this incident and how Krsna was so merciful with devotees as that person
wanted to harm many senior leaders in ISKCON but wasn't able to convince
them to go with him as he wanted to drive them to Barcelona and God knows
what was his plan on the way with each one, and how that by Krsna's mercy
Gurumaharaja didn't go with him to Barcelona as that guy was demanding.
Gurumaharaja added that thanks God that the incident took place at the
airport and he was able to be taken to hospital and be saved as Gurumaharaja
is under Krsna protection. I was told by one devotee many years ago who is a
mystic yogi that in fact this is part of the Lila of Gurumaharaja although a
devotee doesn't know what Krsna has planned for him in this life until maybe
last moments when things gets gradually revealed.

I have seen since today that Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir is getting full
with many pilgrims coming for the great Narasimha Caturdasi festival that is
going to happen on the 13th of May. We have here a unique form of Lord
Narasimha like nowhere else in India or the world. And the celebration is a
real extravaganza with oil and flower abhisheka and homas etc.
As I was informed by email from Madhava Gauranga Prabhu the dean of
Bhaktivedanta Academy that Today (Sunday) evening from 4 to 6 pm there will
be flower offerings for Narasimhadeva.

Tomorrow (Monday) at 9 am the Maha Sudarsan Yajna will take place. And
between 5 and 6:30 pm Laxmi Narasimha deva will be taken around Mayapur on
procession.

I have a plan to make a super video on this occasion for the next year. I
have already interviews HH Bhaktividya Purna Swami, HG Jannanivas Prabhu and
HG Pankajanghri prabhu for this purpose and have 2 lectures on this topic
from HH BVV Narasimha Swami and from HH JPS Gurumaharaja, plus many pictures
and special effects.

As you all know I showed during Vyasapuja the video on Gurumaharaja life
story but now a days I am adding few footages and explanations along with
more picture and videos and will try to finish soon in  days to make
thousands of copies to be distributed to all of you so I need also ur
cooperation in this regard as it's a unique work that I am sure no one else
has with such a graphic detailed life and appreciation from may devotees on
the super life full of preaching activities of HH JPS in his service to
Srila Prabhupada and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Gurumaharaja mentioned that he might leave Mayapur on 14th night or 15th
night depending on a call from the devotees for his next stops.
