Hi all.

This question may seem inappropriate here but i believe i will get a satisfactory answer.
My team is developing a card issuance solution and we are integrating to postcard(postillion card management system) to host the cards.
At the end of the card issuance lifecycle, a pin is also issued to the customer. Therefore, we connect to the hsm to compute pins and pin offsets.
Decimalisation table and pin validation data will be needed to do these computations. However, the IT channels support personnel does not know
where to get these details on postcard.

I want to know if these values are configured on the card management system(postcard) or on the hsm AND where to get them in any of the two cases.
Thank you

I'm afraid your IT channels support will have to escalate the question to their software provider, that's a runtime configuration thing that they'll need to get from their system.

Hi,
Run a test case with pin verification on postillon  and you will get the value of décimalisation table and pin validation data on the hsm log or an a wireshark network log.
Usually the décimalisation table is the same and pin validation data could be based on the card number.
Hope this will help.

Hi Sodiq,

Depending on your HSM model/manufacturer , decimalization table will be under some menu settings, which can be configured by the HSM admin.

Regards,
Raj
