Have you checked the Postillion manual at all?
A cryptographic key can have odd or even parity.
Google was not terrible forth coming (for me), so...
Odd parity is where every byte of the key has an odd number of bits on.
Even parity is where every byte of the key has an even number of bits on.
Parity can be adjusted to meet the requirement by flipping the
fight-most bit of each byte as required.
So back to the manual...
... Which parity setting does your Postillion system (or the HSM it is
using) require?
