Thank you, Latoya, for this walk-through on how to add subtitles.

* If anyone is using Vista, could you please try to use these instructions, and let us know if they work without modification?

* Would anyone like to create a similar document for OS X for extra credit? (If you say yes, please try to have it done by Friday.)

It's essentially the same. I think there may be less scrolling with
Vista, but the basics are all the same.

Side note: This looks like it's going to be super annoying as each
line only stays up literally 2 seconds tops.

Correction! Just took the half-second to figure this out.

One step isn't on the directions. You'll have scroll to the timeline
and right below where you dropped the video clip you'll see your subs.
You have to click and drag them so that they remain on the screen for
the appropriate time span.

I figured out what I was doing wrong and *headdesk*'d a couple'a
