Hello Ad-hoc Whole Foods Committee,

First I'd like to apologize for not responding to any emails in the past few days.  I've been reading along, but focussing my energy on putting together the final pieces of the report.  I'm not quite done yet, but I want to give people an ample opportunity to review the report, so I'm going to give you what I've got so far.  Please recognize that the following pieces are incomplete:

Table of contents
The entire "Small Business Section"
The Conclusion
The Appendices

I have also not finished formatting each part to make sure that the structure of each section is consistent with each of the other sections.  I will address each of these sections and the formatting as soon as possible to give you as much time as possible to review them.

In the meantime, please focus your review on the other sections.  As you are reviewing, I would like you to group your comments and concerns into the following three categories:

1.  I can't support this content being included/not included
2.  We really should add/subtract/change this content
3.  Grammatical error, typos, etc.

At our meeting on Monday night (7 PM Anna M. Cole Community Center), we will deal with everyone's Group 1 concerns first and then their Group 2 concerns.  I hope to be able to cover each of these Group 1 and 2 concerns, ensuring that Monday's meeting can be our last.  Group 3 concerns, for those that have them, should be submitted to me, in writing or electronically, prior to or at the meeting, so I can make the necessary Group 3 edits after the meeting.  After final Group 3 edits are made, we'll revote, via email, to confirm that I made no substantial changes.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please let me know, but also feel free to submit your comments/concerns to me via email, no later than 6 PM on Monday.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your hard work, patience and persistence so far.  The events of the last week, while discouraging, have convinced that this report is more important than ever before.  This debate has become far too divisive and we have an opportunity with this report to begin a new, more civil and constructive conversation.

Steve

Attached, please find the "complete" Draft of our report.  The small business and conclusion sections are done and the Gentfrication section has changed slightly (the pressures that drive JP's gentrication and the recommendation for the JP community).

Appendices will be sent later, as soon as I finish compiling them into a separate document

As mentioned Friday, when you are reviewing, I would like you to group your comments and concerns into the following three categories:

1.  I can't support this content being included/not included
2.  We really should add/subtract/change this content
3.  Grammatical error, typos, etc.

Thanks,
Steve
