Message from John!

Dear all

It is fun to see all of your comments on this group. It is good that
you have a outlet for your views and ideas. However my official
outlets are myspace and theasiaband.com. I do understand that there
has been little change on those sites apart from live dates but
upcoming releases will change all that.

I have been very busy this year writing and I don't feel it's of much
interest or wise to give away too much before contracts are signed or
products are actually finished.

Saying that I shall clear up a few things.

Due to Guthrie's commitments in the UK GPS will not be finished this
year. I can tell you it's heavier but even more prog with some cool
stretching out by the guys.

The new Asia Fjp is fully written and we are very happy with it's
outcome. We will sign a deal shortly with a superb company in the US
and Sony in Japan.

I alone have a side project, much like the one Erik had, Roswell 6,
based around The Lost Symbol and included with a special release of
Decoding the lost Symbol by Simon Cox. This is very orchestral and
will feature some well known singers. This project is under the
moniker The Architects of Time and the album will be called Decoding
the Lost Symbol. I understand the confusion but I decided that we
would call the new Asia fjp Arcana as it fitted the spirit of the
album better.

There is an associated all day event in The Glendale Hilton. We are a
small part of it. The ticket price includes a very top notch meal and
world renown experts on the books themes, slide shows etc. It is
actually not a money making event as the ticket price is to just
recoup some of the costs Follow the link that Barry sent and it will
explain more.
Dates for Asia FJP are coming in for next year and expect a lot more
activity next year with releases.

I thank you for your patients and really appreciate your support. Keep
up your views and comments, I do listen even if I don't hardly ever
comment. I hope you will enjoy this next chapter in my career.

John, it's GREAT to hear from you, & we do understand that you're one busy
guy. I agree, it may not be wise to give too much away, but I think you can
sense from your dedicated fans here that you're wrong that it's not much
interest!

Short regular updates here would be great! Doesnt have to be a daily Twitter
(hey, we've all got lives to lead too) but it would be lovely to hear a bit
more about how things are progressing.

We'd love you to 'sign in' here from time to time!

Quick questions for when you next come by - will the new AFJP 'Arcana'
feature Mitch? & are we looking at a late 2009 release or early 2010?
