Here it is, guys.

I also asked Miss Bivins if we could use the Mac anyway because it
looks better.

I am very confused by the powerpoint, my slide has now been moved or changed to the opening slide ans the original slide about the value of water has been added, I am not saying any of the facts on either slide so i am really confused, also i didn't want any sentences on my slides to avoid saying any of the fact wrong or different from what is on the slide, can someone please help me clear this up. I am not sure what is going on.  lastly, i think it would be best to put each presenter's name on all the slides for reference purposes especially for the judges.

Here are my suggestions:
  • There should be a distinction between the second and third slide. May be slide 2 could say "Alarming Statistics About Water" and Slide 3 could say The Value of Water
  • I think the presenters name should be on the bottom of each slide
  • I think that "its doing too much" to have the water glass in background on slide 3 since its kind of hard to hear the text in front of the image
  • I think think that the financial analysis slides (Kyle) could be further separated because you can barley understand the pie charts
  • I think that Akil's slide is way to much information on one slide. Is there another way to present how we calculated less than 1 cents per gallon
  • Are the numbers in order (1,2,3,4) on slide 7 because on this link it shows (1,1,1,1; Same comment for Slide 14
  • I think the Long Term Return on Investment could be further reduced in terms of content (ie 1. Access to Clean Water, 2. Reduced Time for Medial Treatment, 3. Reduced Medical Expenses
Thank you!

Hey Claire,
I believe the link you provided for the ppt is not showing the ppt right. If it is then there are some changes that needs to be done. For example the listing of the principal goals on my slide goes as 1. 1. 1. 1 instead of 1. 2. 3. 4. Also the font structure looks disorganized but I guess its all the transitioning of Mac to Windows thats why.
But I like the pictures you added to the slides. They are very nice.

Thanks.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your feedback. I attempted to address all of it last night.

  • The numbering is showing up correctly on my computer, so I'll just change them to bullets.
  • Everyone's name will be on the slides if it doesn't look to cluttered overall
  • I don't think Kyle's slides need to be any more expansive, as it is he's walking us through them and the judges have hard copies as well
  • I changed slide 2 to say "The Facts About Water"
  • We chose Akil's short statement because it looked more official than the congested text we had before- I'll see if I can shrink it any more...
  • The long-term investment slide has been thusly changed
  • Question: Crystal, what do you want your slide to say?
Yours,
Claire
