jPlayer already supports AAC+ The Flash should be able to play the AAC+ encoded media.
It is just a shame that most browsers don't. Especially if you are talking about live streams, which are the ones that tend to desire these higher compressed formats.
The best browser for that sort of thing is Safari and iOS. The worst tends to be Chrome for some reason that I cannot fathom. And Android will be patchy.

So to clarify, JPlayer does support AAC+, but only on Safari?
