Hey Samuel !

I am facing the same issue. Did you solve the problem with chrome ? Also, I would like to stream audio from amazon s3, could you please provide me with some guidance about that.

Thanks

Hi Samuel,

I was taking a look at your demo today in Firefox and found that it did not play anything. Chrome seemed to work ok.
Not sure why... I see wmode:'window' is missing, but that was only for older 3.6 Firefox support.

Just letting you know Firefox seems to have an issue.

Did you get to the bottom of your problem?
I suspect it could be encoding of the media... And Safari andChrome may use web-kit, but they are pretty different. Safari relies on QuickTime to play HTML5 media. Just uninstall QuickTime and you will find Safari is no longer HTML5 media.

NOTE:  I am not using JPlayer (yet), but this may be related.

I recently worked on a social music site where we used the HTML5 audio tag, and we experience this issue as well (with a simple HTML5 audio tag linking directly to an Amazon S3 MP3 file).  I'll be listening to a song, and it will drop out half way through (if you look in the console, you'll see a ERR:: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET type of error).  I think the issue may be Chrome actually, or as some suggested, a networking issue with routers.  It doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it'll play all the way through.  I'm on Chrome 35 on OS X 10.7.5 btw.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with Chrome 27. It seems to stop after an arbitrary amount of time. Works fine in IE and FF.

Is there a solution for this?

Thank you,
Kevin
