<Gasp!> we’re actually going to have a regular Green Club meeting this week!
The heat of summer will (hopefully) soon give way to the cool of fall, which marks the start of the optimum time for many to plant native plants. I’ve been gardening with native plants for a couple decades, and will share some of my thoughts and experiences.
If you’ve been thinking about renovating your landscaping to be more water-conscious, here’s a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of incorporating native plants into your yard (hint: there is a lot more to native plants than just saving water, and
your landscape can be beautiful in more than just one dimension!).
I hope you'll join us at our regular time and place:
Date: Thursday, October 13, 2016
Location: 198-B9E
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
-roger
P.s. Next week we’ll have a plant labeling party. We’ve put together some labels to identify plants on Lab, and next week we’ll get together to install them!
