Hello
Very fine software.
Just a newbie question : if the author removes -o option when using exiftool, will JPhotoTagger write internal xmp tags instead of sidecar files ?
Or the whole software must be rewrited ?
Thanks

Hello,

JPhotoTagger does not change (image) files, it always writes metadata
into sidecar files. If you want embed XMP, you can do this via a script
written by yourself: Edit > Settings > 7. Actions. This script, e. g. a
Batch file or Bash script, can use e.g. exiftool and write the
sidecarfile's content into the image file.

To write sidecar files is a key concept and will not be changed.

Elmar
