Font smoothing: jagged letters

I'm testing out JpGraph for a project and I tried using it with Calibri TrueType font and, though the font works, the edges of the letters in the title are jagged as if font smoothing is off. I'm using a Linux (CentOS) server with PHP 8.2 and version 4.4.2 of JpGraph. Is there a way to enable font smoothing?
