March 30-April 23: My short play The Old New World goes up as part of Seven.11.2006 at the Kraine Theatre in NYC’s East Village.  It’s my third year with this great show and I’ll be attending the Q&As following each Sunday performance.  Seven.11 typically sells out, so visit www.desipina.org for your tickets soon.  If you want to attend the Sunday, April 2 performance, get a Culture Pass and save 50% off the ticket price <www.aaartsalliance.org/HTML/CPdistributionSites.html>

 

April 1: My short film Dry Clean Only has its world premiere at the Chicago Asian Showcase.  Sadly, I can’t make it to Chicago for the screening, but the festival sounds very cool.  <www.faaim.org>

 

April 2 & 3: My first ever short musical goes up as part of Raw Impressions Music Theatre Marathon #21 at NYC’s Flea Theatre.  As part of the Marathon, I was teamed with a composer/lyricist and two actors and given ten days to write a ten minute musical incorporating dance.  My collaborators are nothing short of amazing and I think this is going to be a really fun show.  <www.rawimpressions.org>
