eclipse error: Project facet Java version 6.0 is not supported

Hello everyone,
While running web app. on eclipse I got this error: " Project facet Java version 6.0 is not supported"
can anyone suggest how to solve this Error?

Try checking the Java compiler in Eclipse's Preferences. Maybe your
using Java 5. I'm not sure about this, I haven't encountered this
problem before. This is just a guess. Cheers!

What is the Java compliance preference set to? If it's set to 5 that might cause the problem. Sorry but I have yet to run the lab apps so I have not had that roblem yet.

Well , Can U tell me the Version number of the Eclipse ? Maybe it
don;t match up with the JDK.

Please follow the below steps. Hope it will help you.
 
1. Right click on the web-project & select properties
2. In the properties window select Project Facets  from left tree structure.
3. In right main window, select parameter named Java and change the value to 5.0 or the java version which you are using.
