Skinis a 2018 American biographical drama film written and directed by Israeli-born filmmaker Guy Nattiv. The film stars Jamie Bell, Danielle Macdonald, Daniel Henshall, Bill Camp, Louisa Krause, Zoe Colletti, Kylie Rogers, Colbi Gannett, Mike Colter, and Vera Farmiga. The film is inspired by the true story of an American neo-Nazi skinhead named Bryon Widner.
After a recent incident, which involves the burning of a mosque in his hometown, disillusioned Neo-Nazi skinhead Bryon Widner (Jamie Bell) decides to leave the white supremacist movement. He marries local resident Julie Price (Danielle Macdonald) and begins to work odd jobs alongside undocumented workers, who begin to accept him due to his decision to stop being a racist.
White supremacist members retaliate by shooting out his home with him and a pregnant Julie inside, but both are unharmed. When Bryon steps out to confront them, he sees his dog hanging from a tree. To prevent the supremacists from doing further harm to his family, Bryon meets with political activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins (Mike Colter) and FBI agent Marks (Mary Stuart Masterson). Using information Bryon has provided them, the FBI raids the white supremacist compound. Krager (Bill Camp), one of the supremacists, is arrested.
In the aftermath of the supremacist raid, Jenkins continues heading the One People's Project and remains good friends with Bryon. Bryon himself undergoes two years of surgeries to have all his face and hand tattoos removed. He works on getting a degree in criminal psychology and speaks around the country about tolerance and inclusion from his own experience.
On May 11, 2017, international rights to Skin was bought by Seville International at the 70th Cannes Film Festival.[3] In August 2018, it was reported that composer Dan Romer would be scoring the music for the feature.[4]
In May 2017, it was announced that Jamie Bell and Danielle Macdonald would star in the film, with Nattiv writing the screenplay, producing and directing.[5] In March 2018, after production on the film had started, Vera Farmiga was announced to have joined the cast of the film, with Nattiv's wife Jaime Ray Newman reported to be producing.[6] That same month, Mike Colter was cast as Daryle Lamont Jenkins, founder of the One People's Project.[7] Shortly thereafter, actors Ari Barkan, Scott Thomas, Daniel Henshall, Michael Villar, Justin Wilson, and Russel Posner joined the cast.
Skin had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2018.[8] Shortly after, A24 and DirecTV Cinema acquired distribution rights to the film.[9] It was released through DirecTV Cinema on June 27, 2019, and had a limited release on July 26, 2019.[10][11]
Skin holds a 76% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 80 reviews, with an average of 6.6/10. The site's consensus reads: "Skin could stand to go a bit deeper below its surface, but a worthy story and a committed performance from Jamie Bell make this timely drama well worth a watch."[12] On Metacritic, the film holds a rating of 58 out of 100, based on 20 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[13]

Its story is loosely based on the real-life story of a reformed white power skinhead gang named Bryon Widner, who is played by Jamie Bell in the movie. During the opening scene, we see Widner and his fellow gangs violently clashing with a group of demonstrators protesting against racism, and he is certainly quite noticeable for not only his aggressive attitude but also his skin heavily covered with numerous racist tattoos.
After that incident, Widner approaches to Julie, and Julie does not mind that because she appreciates what he did for her while also discerning his soft, sensitive side behind his tattoos and belligerent attitude. As spending more time together, she and Widner become closer to each other, and he naturally comes to consider seriously about living with her and her daughters.
Of course, it does not take much time for him to realize that his racist activities will jeopardize his relationship with Julie. She does not like at all to see him keep getting involved with Krager and other racist gangs, so she decides to walk away from him during one fateful night when Krager suddenly calls Widner for their latest criminal activity, which subsequently puts Widner into more doubt and regret than before.
Ugh, I do not like this because if the skin is for one of my characters (Widow, Hanzo, Reaper) and it is actually decent looking, I would be stupid enough to buy the virtual ticket despite being a console player. In other words, Diablo 3 is the only other Blizzard game I have access to and therefore most announcements are pointless to me. Well, honestly, I guess I downloaded Hearthstone on my phone, but I have not touched that in years.
IDK, hopefully Diablo has more up its sleeve this year. Or hopefully the skin is for a lame character. First was Bastion, and then Winston, they are like, bottom 5 on my list. So here is to hoping they use a tank, support, or pseudo-DPS that nobody plays!

The pH plays an important physiological role in nature and humans. pH varies from 1 to 8 in human organs with tight regulation in blood and epithelia of barrier organs. The physiological pH of the stratum corneum is 4.1-5.8 and several mechanisms contribute to its formation: filaggrin degradation, fatty acid content, sodium-hydrogen exchanger (NHE1) activation and melanosome release. First, the acidic pH of the stratum corneum was considered to present an antimicrobial barrier preventing colonization (e.g. by Staphylococcus aureus and Malassezia). Later on, it was found that the pH influences skin barrier function, lipid synthesis and aggregation, epidermal differentiation and desquamation. Enzymes of ceramide metabolism (e.g. β-glucocerebrosidase or acid sphingomyelinase) as well as proteases (e.g. chymotryptic enzyme or cathepsin D linked to epidermal differentiation and desquamation) are regulated by the pH. Experimental disruption of the physical barrier leads to an increase of pH, returning to normal levels only after many hours. Inflammatory skin diseases and diseases with an involvement of the epidermis exhibit a disturbed skin barrier and an increased pH. This is known for atopic dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, ichthyosis, rosacea and acne, but also for aged and dry skin. Normalizing the pH by acidification through topical treatment helps to establish a physiological microbiota, to repair skin barrier, to induce epidermal differentiation and to reduce inflammation.
Hammer skin weights can fix it, but it won't give you perfectly mirrored weights, and you'll have to re-fix it each time you mirror again, so it's better to fix the underlying problem. With a clean mesh and skeleton, mirror skin weights should work cleanly.
I can't really see the problem in the video, but common things that cause bad mirroring are if the mesh isn't exactly symmetrical, or if the skeleton isn't completely in bind position (eg. joints aren't reset fully to their original position), which can also break symmetry. I use -character-validation.html to check all of these before mirroring weights.
If you can't install plugins, one thing you can try is duplicating the mesh temporary. Unlock scale on the copy (not on the original), and set scale X to -1. That'll flip the mesh horizontally. Switch to wireframe, and the wireframe for the original mesh and the duplicate should be exactly overlapping (any differences mean the mesh isn't symmetric). Then you can delete the duplicate.

Three commercially released facial-analysis programs from major technology companies demonstrate both skin-type and gender biases, according to a new paper researchers from MIT and Stanford University will present later this month at the Conference on Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency.
Next, she worked with a dermatologic surgeon to code the images according to the Fitzpatrick scale of skin tones, a six-point scale, from light to dark, originally developed by dermatologists as a means of assessing risk of sunburn.
Then she applied three commercial facial-analysis systems from major technology companies to her newly constructed data set. Across all three, the error rates for gender classification were consistently higher for females than they were for males, and for darker-skinned subjects than for lighter-skinned subjects.
In 2018 we hand bottled a small amount of three different Pet Nat's: Pinot Noir, direct press Pinot Gris and a skin contact Pinot Gris. These wines are all very long triage (four years) and have no added SO2 (sulfur). We learned a lot from this project and it's fairly likely we will not repeat it, so we encourage you to add these into your shipment before they are gone forever.
Organically-farmed, super high elevation (1000ft alt) Pinot Gris, pressed directly to stainless, bottled at 20 grams per liter sugar and disgorged four years later. The wine reveals things like lemon brioche with powdered sugar, grassy fields and Serve with roast chicken and leeks, turkey and cranberry sandwiches and apple crisp.
