This collection of HDRI environments depicts 6 different light conditions, all captured during the evanescent Swedish summer. With distinct atmospheres from locations around Stockholm, Sweden, they may endow your 3D scene with realistic lighting of different sensibilites, ranging from otherworldly warm to that of the cool skylight of a waning evening twilight, as well as of the exquisite qualities of Nordic light during the day. The collection includes two high-contrast HDRIs, one of medium contrast, and three low-contrast environments. All are unclipped, all are exposure-wise photometrically calibrated to EV 9 as an absolute reference point, and all come in five different resolutions from 1K to 16K.

Hey , i just bought your plugin , and i cannot find a way to scale the hdri map , in hdri backdrop it was simple, you just scale the sphere and thats it, but here its locked , and even if you scale it , it does not change the way the cubemap looks. Could you help me with this one ?

This HDRI collection was captured at Stinson Beach, California, which was the visual inspiration for Pixar's short film Piper. This collection was used while developing the look for the film.

Legend tells of Loren Carpenter showing up serendipitously at the beach right as the camera rig broke...and of course he happened to be walking with tools to fix it at the crack of dawn...

Drag the contents of the Materials folder into your Asset Library > EnvironmentMaps folder. The files are organized by category and can be easily searched in your preset browser.

change time to time of day i want to match hdri (its dusk) then adjust exposure value to suit time of day. only problem is that i then get the black background, can't remember how to get the background hdri visible again.

did it, i'd forgotten to increase RGB values and most importantly the output of the HDRI being used in the background to compensate for the exposure, ended up using daylight system, photographic exposure, mrsun, normal skylight

CGAxis HDRI Skies Collection is a set of 108 full spherical HDR images. All images resolution is 10000 x 5000 px and are in 32-Bit High Dynamic Range file format and JPG file formats. Total size of this collection is 13.3GB. Please check PDF preview files or watch a video below to see all HDRI maps included.

HDRI-Hubs main goal is to provide you with super high resolution hdri images and architectural textures.
Often textures you find in the internet are way too small for really close up work, so we like to produce them in this outstanding quality.

Most of our textures are at least 4096x4096px large or even bigger and the hdri environments are around 10240x5120px. On custom request many of the skies can be reproduced at even larger resolution.

I do a lot of furniture design and product design. The best I've been able to do is just quick model a room and then cut holes in it and use rectangular lights to get something that sort of looks like studio lighting. But I would love to find a HDRI file and settings that look good so I can render and design as I go. The built room and rectangular lights tend to get in the way as I'm designing.

Also, I just figured out something I didn't know before. I was still getting super sharp shadows even when using HDRI files to light a scene. Didn't realize I had to turn the sun all the way down to zero. Getting nice diffuse light and soft shadows now.

hi VANNGUYEN_AVIS my post above only referred to this particular HDRI collection - thank you for liking my glasses but since the attached render was done with Shaderlight Render but at least illuminated with one of the recommended HDRIs, any explanation about this would be in the wrong place here

If Your studio gets in the way when You model, enclose it in a group and put on dedicated layer.. then turn that layer off.. but it will make light dissapear.. if You enclose Your studio inside of a component You can RMB > Save As... And later import it when You start new project..

Check the HUB and make sure the Plus Library is up to date. (v1.424 or higher.) If you plan on using HDRI Link, make sure that is up to date as well (v2.102). You will need to restart C4D after updating any plugins.

Each time you add a new collection and restart C4D, the Plus Library will need to generate thumbnails from your full size images so that the Plus Library can run smoothly. The Plus Library will generate the thumbnails on demand and in the background anytime the Plus Library is open. Once all the thumbnails are created, the Plus Library will be very responsive.

By default, the thumbnail images generated by the Plus Library are stored in the C4D preferences folder. If you want them stored elsewhere, use the 'Use Custom Thumbnail Folder' checkbox to set a custom path. Once setting a custom path, you will want to use the 'Clear Thumbnail Cache' button to clear any of the generated thumbnails stored in your preferences. Note that if you remove a folder or otherwise modify a collection, you will need to use the 'Clear Thumbnail Cache' button and restart C4D to clear any unused thumbnails and generate new thumbnails for modified images.
