GEGL (the upcoming GIMP backend) uses linear-light floating point as the main pixel format. Krita allows several colorspaces and color management through LittleCMS. What about MyPaint? Version 0.5.x uses 8bit sRGB without any alpha channel. Time for a change.

A pre-release version MAY be denoted by appending a hyphen and aseries of dot separated identifiers immediately following the patchversion. Identifiers MUST comprise only ASCII alphanumerics and hyphens[0-9A-Za-z-]. Identifiers MUST NOT be empty. Numeric identifiers MUSTNOT include leading zeroes. Pre-release versions have a lowerprecedence than the associated normal version. A pre-release versionindicates that the version is unstable and might not satisfy theintended compatibility requirements as denoted by its associatednormal version. Examples: 1.0.0-alpha, 1.0.0-alpha.1, 1.0.0-0.3.7,1.0.0-x.7.z.92, 1.0.0-x-y-z.--.

Build metadata MAY be denoted by appending a plus sign and a series of dotseparated identifiers immediately following the patch or pre-release version.Identifiers MUST comprise only ASCII alphanumerics and hyphens [0-9A-Za-z-].Identifiers MUST NOT be empty. Build metadata MUST be ignored when determiningversion precedence. Thus two versions that differ only in the build metadata,have the same precedence. Examples: 1.0.0-alpha+001, 1.0.0+20130313144700,1.0.0-beta+exp.sha.5114f85, 1.0.0+21AF26D3----117B344092BD.

  • Releases are Major.Minor.Patch
  • Patch increments every time you release a build.
  • Minor increments every time backwards compatible functionality is added.
  • Major increments when new functionality is not backwards compatible.
  • When Major == 0 you're in alpha/pre-release. Major >= 1 are your public releases.
  • Lower numbers reset to 0 every time you increment, so

Yes, that's it. In cdk v2, in general scenario, you only need aws-cdk-lib and constructs. Yet in my first migration application, I use @aws-cdk/aws-lambda-python to build up my Python-based Lambda functions based on ARM. And this module is still in experimental mode as you could notice on the v2 API references, therefore, you need to add it into the dependencies part of package.json. AND you don't see it wrong, all experimental modules will be suffixed with alpha, that's one of the conventions you need to adapt yourself to it. About what version you need to specify regarding experimental modules, go check it on npm, my child, that's the quickest way I could sense so far. After you're highly familiar with how experimental versions are progressed, you farewell with looking up on npm.

Major releases refer to the general maturity state of the project, which is amulti-year status. A project begins with 0, e.g. sqlalchemy-collectd-0.0.4,which indicates the range of maturity from initial alpha releases intolong-term stable releases, with the notion that major breaking changes mayoccur across each minor release. At major version 1, the project is consideredto be mature. Major version 2 and higher each indicate major new shifts for theproject of a similar nature as that of Python 2 to Python 3.

Note: Special version strings such as alpha and beta are case sensitive. Version strings from arbitrary sources that do not adhere to the PHP standard may need to be lowercased via strtolower() before calling version_compare().

Kubernetes v1.22.0 introduces a new kubelet feature gateSeccompDefault, which has been added in alpha state as every other newfeature. This means that it is disabled by default and can be enabled manuallyfor every single Kubernetes node.
