Presented by Generation Vitae
Houston Coalition for Life is launching the Learn for Life Scholarship Contest for both middle school and high school students!

To work towards our vision of building a community that loves, respects, and protects every human life from conception until natural death, we must inspire young people to think critically and coherently articulate their pro-life values. The contest will be judged by Generation Vitae, Houston Coalition for Life’s group of young adults.

We are calling on pro-life middle school and high school students to submit an essay entitled “Why I am Pro-Life.”

Submissions Due: February 15, 2024

Contest winners will be notified by April 3rd, 2024 and will be presented their award at Houston Coalition for Life’s Annual Benefit Dinner, date TBD (usually late April or early May) and the 1st Place high school winner will have the opportunity to showcase their work.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE?
All pro-life middle school students (6th - 8th grade) and high school students (9th - 12th grade) in Houston or its surrounding cities are eligible to compete for this scholarship.
