Hello Everyone!

Please see the invitation below from Father Will Rooney for a special event.

He also said, “We are especially excited to invite any who have made their First Holy Communion this year to accompany us in the procession wearing their First Communion attire. We also invite any altar servers (from any parish) to be a part of the process (in cassock and surplice - if they are from another parish they will need to work with their altar server coordinator to borrow vestments.)"

I hope you are doing well. As we are beginning summer, I wanted to draw your attention to an awesome opportunity we have coming up to witness to our faith. We are delighted to extend an invitation to you and your loved ones to join us for a momentous event – a Bryan College Station wide Eucharistic Procession. Here are the important details:
  • Date: June 17, 2023,
  • Time: 8 :15 AM Mass followed by a Procession ending at about 10:15 AM
  • Location: Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bryan, TX; Procession through Downtown Bryan to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. After the procession, a reception will be held at the St. Anthony’s Malinowski Center and then families are invited to return to St. Joseph or have breakfast/brunch at their leisure in the Downtown area.
Why are we doing this?
As you may be aware the Church in the United States is currently in a process of Eucharistic Revival. As part of this, many parishes and groups of parishes throughout the country are holding Eucharistic Processions. A Eucharistic Procession is a deeply significant and beautiful tradition within our Catholic faith. It is an opportunity for our Catholic Community to come together in prayerful reverence, devotion and witness, as we carry the Blessed Sacrament in solemn procession through the streets of Downtown Bryan.

This sacred event serves as a visual and spiritual reminder of the central role the Eucharist plays in our lives and the importance of nurturing our relationship with Christ. The Eucharistic Procession offers a unique opportunity for all to deepen their understanding and love for the Blessed Sacrament, and to witness the power of faith in action. The procession will include moments of prayer, hymns, and reflections along the route.

How can I help?
Please mark your calendars for this blessed occasion.
We encourage you to invite your extended family and friends to partake in this experience of grace and devotion as well.

Please share this invitation with others if you need a graphic to share you can find them by going here:
If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me! I hope you and your families can attend!

In Christ,
