Reminder - Joy Ave. Pathway Work Party - this Saturday - 9 am to Noon

To NENA members and other interested folks,

 

We hope to see you tomorrow, Saturday, April 7 from 9 am to noon, at our next Joy Avenue Pathway work party.  At this NENA event, we'll be removing blackberry roots and ivy and finishing up our work mulching the site with cardboard and chips to protect the beautiful new plants we put in the ground in November. The project site is located in the 1600 block of Bethel Street about 1.5 blocks north of the SF Bakery.

 

Wear sturdy shoes, dress for what promises to be awesome weather, and (if you can) please bring a pitchfork or shovel, work gloves, cardboard boxes, and a wheelbarrow  to the work party.   If you don't have tools or work gloves, we'll have some available for you to use.
