THANK YOU FOR WISHING ME A HAPPY BIRTH DAY

Dear Team,
Never before had I felt so cherished and so loved!!!
33 years ago i was born into this beautiful and promising world. Yesterday, what might have been perceived as a day to celebrate my existence turned out to be a day of deep reflection into my life for the last 33 years. I was amazed at how far I have come but most importantly, how grateful I should be, though there is so much more to do. I noted, among other things, the following:-
1) I have not been fair to God because i owe him all my life and he effortless brought me into this world yet i have always struggled so many times without him.
2) Am a lucky man because i have a family of my own, my wife Mercy and my daughter Maria through whom the love and sharing that we extend to each other, every day reminds me of how grateful I should be to God.
3) You, my people have always been there for me and i felt a lot was desired of me in terms of how i reciprocate the love and care that you extend to me.
4) So much change has taken place but i have contributed less to that change. I realized how deeply we are interconnected but the beauty about it, is how we have turned this interconnectedness into family.

I really meditated deep into my memory and the question I asked my self was; If am lucky to live for the next 33 years, What change shall I see? What progress shall I have made? Although I did not have clear answers, I realized the change that I wish doesn’t matter because it's not about me. It's about we the people, it's about how many lives that I can touch, it’s about the small things that I can do for others, it's about how many people I visit when they are in difficulty, it’s about being there for people, it’s really about how many people I can wish happy birthdays on their special days... but ultimately, it's about living by what our Lord Jesus Christ told us is the greatest of all, " To love my Lord God, with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind and to love you, my neighbours as I love my self" that matters. By God’s grace am convinced it’s within my reach.
When i looked at how you, my people(CMO FAMILY, STANCHART FAMILY, AMDA FAMILY, SAJOBA FAMILY, ABAZIBU FAMILY,ALL MY FRIENDS AND MY OWN FAMILY) were wishing me a happy birthday and Good luck on whatsup, Facebook, sms, email, twitter, verbal, etc , i clearly understood what i need to do for the next 33 years.
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING A BLESSING IN MY LIFE AND FOR MAKING ME WANT TO BE WHO I SHOULD BE.MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD BLESS YOU ALL .
