Highlights from SAJOVA's first mass on 1st September 2013 at Christ the king in Kampala.

Dear Obs,

I would like to congratulate and  thank you for making Sunday's mass(our first get together mass) a success and turning up in large numbers, way higher than we had anticipated.

I believe that with this good start, we can only be limited by the sky.

Mass was celebrated by Fr.Oscar together with Fr.John as the co-celebrant.

The main message i picked from the homily is that we should be humble in our areas of service. The message that no one is to rich not to receive anything and to poor not to give any thing remains eked in my heart.

We manage to collect ugx 360,300 as follows:

Offertory: ugx 151,100

Fr.John's initiative: ugx 199,200

Dr.Mutungi's top up: 10,000

 We made some expenditures including the following:

Fr.Oscar's transport: ugx 50,000

Fr.John's transport: ugx 50, 000

Main hall:               ugx 100,000

Sms's:                   ugx 50,000

totaling   to ugx 250,000

The balance of  ugx 110,300 will be deposited on the account not later than Thursday.

Next mass will be on 3rd November 2013 and i am of the view that we should have  pioneers and obs between 1980-1985 animating.
