Has JournoTwit gone mainstream? "Rate Limiting in Effect"

Is this message "Rate Limiting in Effect" a thing with my account or
has JournoTwit became too popular and is being throtled by twitter
itself?

Also can something be done to stop the spam in this group?

That is Twitter throttling us I'm afraid. But I'm looking into ways of solving this using an algorithm for API call frequency.

I'm not getting any spam from this group?
