Hi,

After long, all of you are back on the internship tracks. A lot more serious than the first semester, simply because we are progressing in life and also as professionals. Stepping stones in the first. Stronger, bolder foray in the second. Can't afford to trip and fall from here. So, better to be careful than being late and sorry. Don't miss the opportunities.

Do take this industry internship seriously. Find as many projects too. Better the internship, better the chances to be hired. Be impressive. Give it your best.

Will mail you more of the industry insights, so as to understand where SIMC lacked last year, and let us try to fill in the lacunae. An example can be our experience or say the batch which was senior to us, where we found 6-8 final placements at Hanmer M S & L, Mumbai from Indira college, 3/9 from XIC, while we had just 0/1. NIL Conversion rate, even when we were the better people ! Reasons galore, including a not-so-effective winter internship for the past many batches.

I'll be mailing you the list of 2010 placement update soon. We have fared better on the placement front when compared to 2009 & for sure, batch 2011 will be 100% placed. You needn't depend on anyone for a final placement. Your work reflects you, talks about you, moulds you. So, just give your best.

One last thing. At times, I'd been rude, callous, indifferent, angry, annoying and all the etceteras you can add as negatives. But forget that too. To all those whom I hurt, knowingly and unknowingly - "Pardon".

& never have a notion that am not approachable. Ask me any queries anytime of the day even while am at work. Will be glad to help each one. Let's bring change the way we think is right. Take care all. Wish you the very best in all your future endeavours. I'll be missing a lot of you. To be very very honest, 2011 has been very cooperative and too talented a bunch for the senior batch. Thanks.
