Please send the names of your group members for the assignment on Contemporary India and the World. Every group should have four members. Send in the names by tonight.
Also find attached the power point presentations on Political and Environmental crisis. Sir has shared the ppts on assurance that they will not go beyond the class. It's strictly for academic purpose, please ensure that.
For the film 'Slow Poisoning of India', you can take a copy from me on IP or get your pen drives tomorrow to the class.
I am sharing the lecture plan for this module. Some more topics may be added or deleted on Sir's next visit. You'll be updated accordingly on the same.

This mail is regarding the Group assignment for the module "Contemporary India and the World."
PF Here are the basic instructions by Sir:
- 2000 words
- 30 marks
- Has to be researched well.
You must have live interviews of commoners, experts so that there is credibility. Please quote from where you got the information even if it is from the Internet or an official government site.
The piece you do together must be so good that it can get published.
Divide your work so that you do not duplicate your time and energy and focus. Clearly mark out you area of research and go for it.
Then sit down together and all four talk of what you have done and critique each other. Accept criticism and do not behave like you are god’s gift to journalism. Then redo what you need to do to add meat to your work.
Then sit down together and structure it logically as there will be a lot of material and it can confuse you.
Do not do more than 2000 words. It must be tightly written and edited.
Good idea that one team member collects the material and writes it but while writing the other three must be around to help and guide.
Do something that you will be proud of and do not think of the 30 marks. Believe me, it does not matter.
Deadline: August 5.
