A relay. 4 athletes. Strategy. Second fastest - Third fastest - Slowest - Fastest. Gunshot. One round complete. The shout. Hand outstretched. First to second. The baton. Exchanged. The team leads. Cheering. Second to third. Baton exchanged. Leading. Excitement. Crowd. Frenzy. Third to fourth. Athlete runs. The shout. Hands outstretched. The baton exchanged. Anticipation. Cheers. Baton dropped......... A sigh. Disqualified. The deafening silence. Off the track. Failure. Race over. An excruciating pain. Agony. Numbness. Team work. Sweat. Time - Lost. An effort to string the beads wasted by the fastest.

 

The 'Year End Bash' needs us all. It's not a party, but primarily a meeting place. Let the differences be bygone. Transition. One image to another. Coherence. The umpteen days, the inseparable moments... the warmth, the differences... the gossips, the truths.. Let it all merge. Let us wake up to a new dawn. A dawn where 2010 & 2011, all are just SIMC'ians.

 

Unlike in a movie, the story will continue elsewhere, a story which otherwise only a few will know...
