Some doubts regarding Fresher's Party on 23rd

Hi All,

 

This is regarding the Fresher's party on 23rd June which we all know about it is happening at "The One" in koregoan park. I don't know what deal was offered by them but there was one more proposal for fresher's party in "Stone Water Grill" in Koregoan Park, which is undoubtedly the best place in Pune. As most of the juniors are new to the city, we wanted to give them the best available experience here.

The deal offered was Entry for Rs.350 which included a welcome drink for all & additional 4 shots for ladies. The transport offered was for Rs.100 which would have saved Rs.50 per head in that respect.

The deal was promptly brushed off by the co-curricular cell on no solid grounds, when there were still 4 days left to 23rd. I just wanted the co-curricular cell to kindly explain the decision taken by them rather undemocratically and also to get the opinion of both the batches on this issue. Therefore i request all of you to revert back to this mail.

Hi All,

 

Firstly, The Venue ' The One' was chosen becuase of the following factors -

 

* Exclusivity of the party at 'The One' which 'Stone Water Grill' could not provide at all.

This being a College Fresher Party Exclusivity and Safety are of primary concern. In any party which is not happening on Campus SAFETY of the students is of utmost importance and it cannot be compromised upon. Hence the decision of 'The One'.

 

* Menu - The system of '4 shots' for girls was not revealed to the Co-Curricular Cell and hence incomplete information. They were informed about the system of '1 shot'. Also there were no discounts on the food and bar menu unlike 'The One'.

 

Secondly, such populist approaches like these which are not based on facts are totally against the Spirit of the college and in violation with the SIMC Email-Policy. This act is totally in bad taste and any such activities are totally uncalled for.

 

Thirdly, Kindly refrain from replying to this chain-mail. Anybody replying to this mail would invite serious and strict action against them. 

 

Fourthly, The SIMC Council assures of full transparency in this process and the revenue/earning sheet would be verified and checked by Registrar, SIMC and The Executive Council against the sale of passes. So no worries on that front :)

 

The process is Official and hence fully verified.

सभी को नमस्कार,

आज के विद्यार्थी समिति की बैठक के उप्रान्त, हम सभी लोग इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे हैं की नए विद्यार्थियों का अभिनन्दन समाहरोह कोरेगांव पार्क स्थित "ONE" नामक स्थल पर ही होगा. मेरे और समिति के बीच कुछ गलतफहमियां हो गयी थीं जिसके कारण मैंने वो सन्देश भेजा. 

यदि मेरे कारण आपको कोई परेशानी हुई तो इसका मुझे खेद है. 

समारोह "ONE" में ही हो इसमें मुझे कोई आपति नहीं है. मेरे मन मैं जो भी दुविधाएँ थी उससे हमारे मित्रगणों ने बहुत ही बारीकी से स्पष्ट किया है.
