Well, here're steps to install and use the new rupee symbol. It's easy to install!
Steps to use the new symbol of Rupee (`) on your laptop/computer. The font may take some time to be shown in the font list .
PFA the font "rupee foradian"
Save on Desktop
GoTo Start>Setting >Control Panel> Fonts : Select File > Install
(Save As the attached file "Rupee_Foradian.ttf" in the folder C:\WINDOWS\Fonts)
2. Open MS Word and press ` key 
3. Highlight and select the font "Rupee Foradian" or select the font and then press `
4. You can also use the symbol in e-mails.
